Qualities
Solid, resistant to a diversity of climates, it is
medicinal, the leaves give calcium (strengthen the bones), gathers the wise
people, there is a myth (it brings fecundity to the women), the fruits are
eatable, provides shape (gives comfort), big birds make their nets (nice view)
the branches are flexible, the skin is very hard, but the second layer is very
soft. It is a sacred tree, it cannot be cut, when it is cut, it takes very long
to dry, it does not burnt, it is very different from others, but it is beautiful,
it takes long to grow, it is thick, it can grow out of a seed or out of a stem,
the roots are very deep, all is eatable or useful for medicine, the leaves
gives iron and the fruits gives calcium, the tree last very long. It is rare.
Everything is eatable.
How do we
identify ourselves with this tree?
- Its resistance, its strengths and its struggles, we go through the ups and downs; we get healing and also we bring healing to others.
- It takes time tree to grow; we do not grow in one day.
- Its sacred, our lives are also sacred.
- We have a purpose of being. We have also our ways of bearing fruits, of welcoming people. We have our own wisdom and we attract wisdom.
- Its skin is very hard, but the second layer is very soft. Our hearts are soft, ready to receive and to give, to let go and to welcome change.
- Its shade and fruits. Our energy, our passion and compassion in dealing with other.
- Its resistance and its deep roots. Our attachment to Christ helps us to face difficulties.
- It’s a place of gathering and dialogue. To come a refresh ourselves to continue the journey.
- Its fertility. Through our femininity we give life. Our capacity to adapt to different situations, climates, places.
- Its special. Each one is unique and together we complement each other.
