"The dream
bearer is the dream carrier. You have the dream and you have to carry it." (Leymah Gbowee)
The dream
for us at the end of this workshop as temporary professed sisters is to live
the values of the baobab tree in our communities and in our apostolate.
It does not matter: “God used the foolish things of this world to
confront the wise” (Leymah Gbowee)
We are all
called to be co-creators, people who dream, people who believe in their dream,
people who believe in the power of unity and the possibility of a better world
for all.
Co-Creating: the movement of the ‘U’ that enables us to
explore the future by doing, enacting prototypes of the future by linking the
intelligences of the head, heart, hands and by iterating through the guidance
of fast-cycle feedback from all stakeholders in time.
The enemies
of the ‘U’ in its upward movement are the 3 old methods of operating:
Executing
without improvising and mindfulness (reactive action).
Endless reflection
without a will to act (analysis paralysis)
And talking
without a connection to source and action (blah-blah-blah)
Do not
respond upon impulse always, act upon the will instead of perpetual analysis
and be in touch with the source instead of blah - blah - blah.
We finished
our workshop with a joyful creative recreation together the General council
team, Elisabeth Villemure, Christine Bahati and our facilitator Yago Abeledo, Missionary of Africa.
Do not fear
to carry your dream and realize it. Be that “prophetic” voice of your
time.
